LO2: Treatment

 Treatment 

Two people present a car and try to sell it to the buyer.

One of the sellers begin to explain the negatives.

The car gets sold.

They then drive the car. 

In my short film there are 2 sellers who are trying to sell this car to someone who is looking to buy their first car. However, the person selling the car starts of very positive about the car, but then begins to explain what is wrong with the car (basically everything). In the next scene we move away from presenting the car, and begin the scene of the buying part, with Chris making his final decision on if he wants the car or not. In the end Chris does in fact want the car making it a successful purchase for the buyer. However, we soon realise that Chris in fact does not have his license nor is insured on the car so he can't drive it. 

Next we move on to the driving part of the video, where we get to see just how good of a driver Archie is. In these scenes there is a lot of copyright music that had to be cut out, along with going to many different locations including McDonalds and may different roads and duel carriage ways. Although the film does contain swearing from many of the actors, we still stick to the purpose of what needed recording for entertainment of our audience. The only thing that is used in the film is the car, as no additional props were really needed to be included in the film as long as we had the car.  

The perspective the audience views the short film is the perspective of the camera man (me), as we only use one camera to record the entire thing, to make it look like the people watching the film imagine they are in the car with us rather than viewing the film in multiple different shots constantly changing the perspective of what is going on. 

What makes this film different to others is that it includes a blooper scene at the end because the scene was just too funny to cut out.
